Five bedroom self-catering luxury accommodation designed for groups of people seeking a golfing, walking or cycling get-away in the beautiful Shropshire Hills.
Sleeping 10-14 people, all bedrooms provide en-suites and super-king beds which can all split to singles. Two of these bedrooms are family rooms which can sleep an additional 2 adults/children in each room in full-sized bunk beds (additional guests and bed splitting on request).
Perfectly located in the heart of the Shropshire Hills AONB with spectacular views over open countryside to Caer Caradoc and its hilltop fort, but unusually less than a half mile to Carding Mill Valley & The Long Mynd (National Trust) and only a short stroll along the pavement into Church Stretton with pubs, restaurants, supermarket and boutique shops. Church Stretton Golf club is just under a mile away.
Built in the 18th century as two cobblers cottages, extended several times and now fully renovated into a large contemporary space, featuring open plan chef’s kitchen and diner, sitting area with log stove, large lounge with another log stove, plus three staircases giving groups the space they need to not feel on top of each other. Unwind and enjoy incredible views from all rooms or while relaxing in the outdoor hot tub or al-fresco dining on the composite decking.
They offer three night breaks or more at Clearviews. Click here for availability, to contact Sara or book online and for more information about this property on TripAdvisor.
Come and unwind at a unique holiday lodge recently blogged by Trip Advisor as “one of the 17 most luxurious cabins on the planet” and featured in the Telegraph, The Daily Mail, Style Magazine and the Shropshire Star.
This luxury lodge is nestled in a 1/3 acre woodland dingle beneath a canopy of oak trees. Unwind after a day of golf in your Jacuzzi spa, surrounded by the natural beauty of mature oaks and the lodge’s modern western red cedar cladding, whilst listening to the soothing background trickle of the stream as it meanders beneath you. Sit back and relax with an evening drink on the composite decking, warmed by the Burda electric heater, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings before searing a steak or marshmallow over the traditional Indian Kadai fire bowl, complete with cooking grill.
It’s a truly unique, magical and private space and yet only a short walk into Church Stretton town with its eateries, independent specialist shops and attractions. After a day’s activities you can retreat into your personal haven and relax. We offer two night breaks or more at Oaks Retreat. With over one hundred and twenty 5/5 reviews on TripAdvisor, Larches Retreat is an authentic Norwegian log cabin with a log burner and outdoor bbq and firepit and offers outstanding views over the picturesque town of Church Stretton. Larches Retreat is dwarfed by the glorious backdrop of the Long Mynd, Caradoc and Carding Mill Valley, all but a stone’s throw away. You are spoilt for choice with many beautiful and scenic walks on the doorstep to suit both the less energetic and more experienced walkers. There are numerous routes for on and off-road cycling too.
Please note that although the chalet is adjacent to Mark & Sara’s house the entrance is on the furthest side (see TripAdvisor review comments) and a wall and gate ensures the lodge is completely private.
We offer two night breaks or more at Larches Retreat. Click here for availability, to contact Sara or to book online and for more information about this property on TripAdvisor.
