Congratulations to Chris Watson on winning the Centenary Trophy with a score of 66-06 = 60 nett from John Maddox with 71-09=62 nett.

24-07-2010 - The Captains Away Day at Droitwich Golf Club

All 36 players had an excellent day out for the Captains Away Day at Droitwich Golf Club. Mark Redmond scored 39 points to win the main prize from Jonathan Gidney with 38 points. A big thank you to John Povall for organising the whole day and making sure that everything ran smoothly. Droitwich Golf Club looked after us very well and made it a day to remember for our Captain Tom Morris.

01-07-2010 - THE NEW TEE MARKERS ARE NOW OUT ON THE COURSE

The New Tee Markers are now out on the course and look excellent. Thanks to Dave Malcolm, Tom Morris & James Townsend for all their work on the design of the signs & posts and to the Maintenance Working Group who helped to put them out on the course. The hole sponsorship will run from July 1st 2010 to January 31st 2012 and thanks to all who sponsored the holes.

The golf club are running a Summer Raffle Draw (to be held on Sunday 31st October 2010) with the following prizes:-

Congratulations to Jonathan Gidney on winning The County Championship at Chesterton Valley Golf Club. He beat Nigel Chesters in the final on the 21st Hole. This now means that Church Stretton Golf Club has the Mens & Ladies (Isabel Green) County Champions which is a remarkable achievement for a small club like ours.
