It is with great sadness that the golf club has to announce the passing of Percy Tarbuck. Percy was Club Captain in 1956, President 1994-1996. He will be sadly missed by all at the club and our thoughts are with his family at this sad time. The funeral has been arranged for 11.30am at St Lawrence Church, Church Stretton on Friday 16th December with reception to follow at the Parish Hall.

Everyone enjoyed the day at Henlle Golf Club on Friday 5th August. The weather was superb and there was some very good scores. In the morning 9 hole competition Dan Kelly, Kevin Davies and Terry Elvins won with a score of 71 and in the afternoon 18 Hole Stableford Mark Redmond won with a score of 40 points from Dean Richards 39 points and Ben Heiron in third also with 39 points.

13-03-2011 - Maintenance Work carried out behind changing rooms

Thank you to the Maintenance Party and Ken Williams for all their hard work erecting the wall behind the changing rooms. The work was carried out on Saturday 12th March ready for the buggy arrival at the end of the month.

A big thank you to our Greenkeepers Pete Bason & Trevor Jones for the work they have done to the back of the clubhouse and to Tom Morris and Dave Malcolm for the work carried out to the wash basin in the gents toilet in the clubhouse. Also last but by no means least to the Maintenance party for all their hard work removing the wall at the back of the changing rooms. All the work is very much appreciated by all the members of the club.

Congratulations to CSGC 'A' on winning through to the Semi-Final of the Presidents Plate. They beat Hawktone Park 'B' 3 1/2 - 2 1/2 over the two legs. They will now play Wrekin 'A' at home on Sunday February 6th 9.45am - 11.15am and then the 2nd leg will be played away on Sunday 20th February. Best of luck from all at the club.

15-11-2010 - Work to the Path on the 3rd Hole

The White/Yellow 3rd tee will be closed until further notice due to the work being carried out on the path. Please use the old tee directly behind the 2nd green. A big thank you to all who carried out the work over the weekend on widening the path, a tremendous job to do that much work in a short space of time. This will be such a fantastic addition to the course.
